The Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) Lab at Rutgers University

Michael Gradin, or Maka, is the Assistant Director of Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) at Rutgers Division of Continuing Studies, a founding member of two game design studios, Cooperative Shenanigans and Quixotic Games. He has also been an adjunct professor of Game Design and an IT professional for more than 20 years, including running Rutgers' Sakai Help Desk for 5 years.  Maka helps GRID work with faculty and staff to create immersive experiences to improve student's educational outcomes by combining his experience on over 20 published board games, years of IT support, and his teaching knowledge. At Cooperative Shenanigans, Maka works to create new ways for humans to work and play together!
