Steve Garwood has worked for years in the field of instructional design and technology in higher education. He possesses a Doctorate in Education (EdD) specializing in the design of learning environments, a Masters in Communication and Information Studies (MCIS), and a Masters in Library Service (MLS). As the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs for Thomas Edison State University, Steve is responsible for oversight and leadership regarding new degree programs and degree changes, including oversight for academic advising, academic integrity issues, and the University’s non-credit offerings. Steve also participates in strategic planning and budgeting and develops and/or manages the implementation of academic policies.
