William (Bill) Stuckey has been in the Information Technology world for forty-four years. He began his career with General Motors in 1969 as a Junior Programmer eventually leaving the company in1976 as the Director of Systems and Programming for the Frigidaire Division. From there, Bill held IT orientated leadership positions for organizations such as Sunbeam Corporation and Pratt and Whitney. Bill joined AT&T in 1995 to help design the new systems and communications needed when AT&T broken into AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and NCR Corporation. Bill rose through the ranks to become the Chief Information Officer for Lucent where he was responsible for all Lucent’s business units as well as Bell Labs and Corporate Finance. Bill founded Global Analysis & Consulting LLC in 2004 to help corporations with strategic planning, acquisitions and divestitures, security reviews, and the placement of people into temporary roles as acting CIO’s during search efforts. Bill is currently retired and enjoys piloting a multi-engine commercial aircraft, playing golf, and fishing as well as spending with his wife and son.
