Heather is a Behavioral Epidemiologist with training in Biomedical Informatics. Heather has over 10 years of work experience and academic research training in disease prevention and management, specializing in the use of consumer-centered technology to leverage behavior change and improve health outcomes. Heather has been recognized as a leader in the field of mobile health (mHealth) research and evaluation. Her research and consulting experiences span various settings, both domestic and international and she has applied experience in the areas of maternal and child health, HIV and STI prevention, adolescent sexual health, and diabetes, with a particular focus on global settings and underserved populations in the United State
